our next Issue of Dog Fancy and its our special issue World travel series and
Senior dogs profiles Along with that, we will be profiling the CHIHUAHUA There
will be several pages of information solely devoted to your breed, including
some wonderful photos. Usually we do not profile a breed again for another 5-7
years.

Hi Jillian,
I'm working on the potty training now. She did okay last night - wined some but
mostly stopped after 8 minutes. She seems to be adjusting quite well already.
She has a pink collar and leash, I gave her a nice bath and spritz of perfume
and she seems very content now. She has a nice yard to play in and is having
fun with her rope toy we got her. She loved the grass! Her new name is "Zella"
Rose Sahin. Kiera loves Rose from the movie Titanic so we put that as her
middle name and the first name sounds princess like so we picked that.

We actually switched her name again to "Lolly"-Pop Rose - cause she's so sweet.
So we love her and thats all that matters now anyway. She's adjusting so well
and she is just a little sweetheart. Still have some potty training in the
house to do yet but I think she is doing very well for the first 3 days.So
thanks, and yes, she is in a very loving home. She will be treated very well
and were happy to have her.

Hi Jillian-
Rusty (Brussels Griffon) is here. He is so precious. His crate was completely clean and he went potty as soon as we got out of the airport. He was wagging his tail and giving me kisses in the car on the way home. We got home very late. It was about 3a.m. EST. Rusty is happy and playing and adjusting to his new surroundings very well. We are so glad that he is finally here. I will try to keep you posted over the next few days to let you know how he is doing. Thanks for letting us share our home and our lives with such a beautiful little boy.

Explanation: Cindy adopted Teddy (Cairn Terrier) for her significant other
Chester about 1 year ago, this time Chester surprised Cindy with Tay (Yorkie)~
Jillian,
Cindy and I picked Tay up at the airport last night - it was about 10:30 when we left O'Hare airport in Chicago and we pulled up in the garage at 1am. Tay did very well, I gave him a partial bath last night, he was not completely sure about everything. Cindy gave him a good bath this morning in the bathtub (with less than a 1/2 inch of water in it). Cindy said he did very well.
Tay is a jewel - he is funny how he rolls over and wants his belly tickled. Cindy and Tay have been inseparable. Teddy stayed the night at the kennel so we could get Tay last night. Teddy is right her beside me now - he will meet his little brother Tay soon. I am sure Teddy will love Tay too.
I did leave a message on your phone last night that we picked Tay up at the airport and he was all safe and sound. I'm sure we will send pictures of Tay and Teddy soon.

Hi Jillian.
You have a lovely home by the way, nice area too. Dave and I fell in love with Logan. And Gucci's Mom is really cute and so friendly. I didn't want to traumatize him too much. My back seats fold down so we had our pet crate positioned so the door was open right between the front seats. I put a blanket down on the console between Dave and I, and Gucci could go into the crate, or lay beside us as he wished. So he had quite a set up. As it turned out, he was very calm about going with us, seemed to love the ride and the company. He wasn't the least bit nervous, (we find him to be an extremely calm puppy), and took the ride so well that we wondered if we had a puppy in the car. If he had been a Golden Retriever it would have been a very long 9 hours. But, Gucci was great. We did take him to PetSmart before we left and bought a new harness. We had everything else. We took the scenic route from Logan to Jackson Wyoming, that was a beautiful drive. We stopped frequently, and he had dinner in Jackson. Gucci did his business, and we were back in the car. What a little gentleman.
I had the house ready for him, we have an area penned off, puppy pads, a dog bed, toys, well-the works. He had no problem setteling in. That night we spent quite a bit of time with him before we headed off to bed, I put him in his crate, he whimpered for about 30 seconds and slept until my alarm went off at 6 am. Like you said, I walked him quickly, fed him, walked him again and we went about our Easter day. I had more company than I expected yesterday, two daughters, spouses, and 4 grandchildren. All the grandchildren had the opportunity to play with Gucci. Although I don't believe a new puppy should have too much excitement right away-he seemed to relish it. He played with them so nicely, and thought our 16 month old granddaughter was another puppy. He would have a toy in his mouth, run to her as if to say "see I have something you can't have" and then run away as though she would chase him. I think he was disappointed that she didn't get down on all fours and follow him around the kitchen.
Well, I have to get back to the desk job, unfortunately I can't stay home and play with him all day. But he's well loved, will be going to the vet this week, and will have his first grooming experience in a couple of weeks just to get the hang of it.

How are you? I'm sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. Ali is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! She is so smart, courageous, fun... I could go on and on. The sisters are warming up to her. They weren't as welcoming as I thought they would be. Just goes to show you never know! Ali has been sleeping with me and the sisters since the first night. She doesn't have any accidents in bed at all. I bring her everywhere I go. She loves to play. My niece had a bandana in her hair and gave it to Ali. It's three times her size and she picks it up and plays with it. She's my little nut. I had to change her name from Rae after I saw how tough she is. I named her after Muhammad Ali : )
Do you have any business cards? I get asked all the time where I got Ali. Since I don't remember the website, if I had your business card I would gladly hand it out. I'm so thrilled with my baby and how great you've been I want others to be as happy as I am. I have at least two people that are interested. Other people I meet if it's a one time meeting I've missed opportunities to solicit your website.

I want to commend you on the great job you do with your puppies I have never met
someone with a love for their fur-babies (as you would say). When I received my
little Tink I was over joyed with how gorgeous she was and still is. I can tell
by her temperament and training you work very hard with your dogs and puppies.
I also want to thank you for working so hard to answer my every question or
should I say pages of questions. Having a puppy from you I know what kind of
home my Tink came from a wonderful home where she was treated as part of the
family. I visited many other breeders who kept their dogs outside in kennels
and I knew that was some where I didn't want my puppy coming from. When I
visited you on several occasions and even my surprise visit I was always happy
to find your dogs and puppies were with you in your home. Also it was nice to
see a home that had dogs and puppies that was so clean and spotless, you have
beautiful home and most people by looking at it would think you didn't have any
pets. I have been very impressed by your ethics and the way you do things so to
say I purchased my Tink from you is a huge compliment.

Hi Jillian!
Max has arrived and is doing well. When we got home he ate up his dinner right
away.
The little house training will probably take a little bit...but he's
mastered the pee pads a couple times thus far! He's the most PRECIOUS little
guy....we've
cuddled so much already! He's latched on to a soft baby blanket as well as
a little tiny soft squeak toy. He hasn't barked once...only a tiny whine
when I had to finally leave him for sleep last night. But he was fine
this morning and gobbled up his breakfast! I have a vet apointment scheduled
for first thing tuesday morning...(it was
the soonest they could fit the litte guy in.) I'll keep you updated and fax
you the results after he goes in.

the way he's roamed around "checkin stuff out"...

Thank you for my mini pin I love her so much and she is even better then you
described. We have already gotten situated and Di is learning things so
quickly, you were right she is very smart. She has already used her potty pad
and hadn't had a single accident in the house since she arrived. I know you
said she should sleep in her crate at night but I just can't part with her, so
she sleeps with me. Di is so good she curls up next to my pillow and stays
there all night till it is time to go out in the morning. We eat our breakfast
together and then do what ever is on the days list. I have a best friend now
and I would like to thank you!

Hi Jillian,
How are you? Things are great here and my little Coco is the center of
attention, he is such a show off.
He knows he is king of this castle but it is easy to let him take charge when he
is so good. We have
bonded and I take him everywhere he loves his little handbag and when we go
bye-bye. When we go
out everyone just dies over how adorable he is and how he is the best looking
min pin they have ever seen.
My vet was amazed how tiny he is but very sturdy and healthy, he can hold his
own. I will send you
some pictures in a bit and I plan on keeping in touch you raised a fine boy.

Hi Jillian,
My little guy is AMAZING! His name is Bandit and he is just a bundle of
JOY! He sleeps with me every night in my bed in between two pillows
all snuggled up. He gives more kisses than one can imagine. He is so well
behaved and trained.
There were three other dogs that I looked at when I got him and HE was the
one that cought my eye. There was something special about him I could just
tell by his pictures. His markings are gorgeous.
Attached are some pictures of Bandit that i took. I'm always taking pictures
of him and showing him off. I LOVE this little guy so much.

Just wanted to let you know that Sauchee has arrived safely. I
immediately fell in love with her, she started being excited and
licking me and stuff just as soon as she got out of her crate. So it
appears first impressions were good. I will let you know how things
go. I am taking her to the vet tomorrow afternoon, so expect the fax
from them sometime tomorrow. I will let you know if I have any

Thought I would say hi and let you know about Pabu. She is doing
wonderful and is so sweet. Everyone says what beautiful hair she has
and her paws are so big and cute. She is truly a wonderful puppy and
into everything and loves everyone. She is a joy to have around...
She is just about trained. It is easy for me because I just can open
the back door and she can run out. On the 29th I am having her spade.
Thank goodness we do not live closer or I would have to get China
Doll...

Haven't sent pictures of Sumo in a long while. He is doing so well. So
adorable and so much love and fun everyday!
He goes to Puppy Day Care during the day when I can't get there early
enough. But either David or I pick him up as soon as we can. The weather
has been nice. They have been letting them play outside. Sumo loves that.
He usually gets all the dogs excited and they say he gets them all going and
has to say good bye to them all when he gets to go home.
He loves to go for rides in the car. The day care is only 5 minutes from the
house. We play soccer and chase the ball when we get home for hours. He is
usually so thristy and worn out when he gets home.
Then he stays right in with David & I while we make dinner. Then we play
again for awhile. Then he takes a small nap from a busy day.... then all
excited and ready to play right before bed.
He loves to sleep with David & I -- and his crate too if he wants to sleep
while we are reading before bed.
Thought we'd share his pictures. Happy Spring! When ever if finally decides
it wants to get warm.
